Server Administration
I am experienced in setting up and administrating Linux servers running either Apache or Ngnix. I can handle all task associated with switching servers including copying web files and accompanying MySQL Databases from old server to new, changing DNS settings to point to the new server and setting up email addresses and aliases for each domain. I have troubleshooted a number of issues both software and hardware related and have always succeeded in solving the problem.
Streaming
I also have experience setting up ingesting of RTMP streams to SDI or file output as well as streaming living events using HLS and/or RMTP. Both ingesting and streaming use a combination of FFmpeg and bmdtools.
Coding
I am experienced in both creating from scratch and adding onto a variety of scripts and apps. I can code in PHP, pulling data from and pushing data to MySQL Databases to build database driven dynamic sites. I can do client side scripting in Javascript and can combine Javascript and PHP scripts using AJAX for optimum usability.
Design
I know how to combine my design and coding abilities to create dynamic websites with user interaction and am experienced in hand writing HTML and CSS in text based editors.
